This is just me and friend discussion knowledge no basis of fact but, by putting more power on it, its what I want to do, could a deeper oil pan and torque converter help, new gears, my tranny is a bout done even with the small amount of things ive done I need to take it up to the ford house to find out if its almost done or not because the slippage is already horrible on it. So I need to A. beef it up until I get into the big leagues in transmission for the ford. with just the three modderate mods its almost done.... Plus I just want some good knowledge on performance for the 6.0 and what performance will work well with it and what engine upgrades I need this is my first diesel so yeah. its been my dream car, since I was 11, but my first truck was a Z-71 and I just saved up enough money to get one. HELP!

Depends.

7.3l Get beyond stage 2, and yes.
The 6.0l you can push pretty hard before you worry about the transmission hardware, but nothings unbreakable

npccpartsman is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
Bump....Is it possible, since this is the competition forum that we can make this thread a sticky, or maybe get it compiled so that it doesn't get lost?? Not just for the 6.0's, but the 7.3's and the IDI's too?
