Watching a LeMans race last night...Evidently the turbo diesel Audi's are cleaning house this season. It was kind of funny watching the Ferraris, Porsches, vette's et.al. chasing a TDI around the track.

Scheid's car is pretty impressive in person. I think they posted a picture some time ago of the turbo when the wheel exited the exhaust, looked like a chain saw on steroids attacked the pipe.

I think there are going to be (maybe have been already) some changes so that the cars get the same 'energy quantity' instead of 'fuel volume' to even things out a bit. one of the advantages of the diesel, was going further before needing to fill up.
