solenoid pack difference e4od and 4r100
what is the difference between these two solenoid packs? The pinout is the same. Are the signals from the TCS different?
I need to know in order to proceed with swapping a 4r100 into my 95 f250(e40d) Any advice is greatly appreciated.

the 4r100 uses a pulse width modulated torque converter clutch solinoid, the lock up is engaged from0 to 100%.the e4od is either on or off.

Is the solenoid for the torque converter lockup actually in the large solenoid pack? If it is, is there a way to only change out the lockup solenoid?
