Eddie Bauer trim removal
I have a 2004 X, Diesel, Eddie Bauer, white with gold cladding. I would like to replace the stock fender flares with the Xenon flares. They are designed to be used with the base or XLT body cladding. Has anyone removed the stock Eddie Bauer front and rear fender flares? Are there any alignment holes for the flares behind the front & rear wheels? I plan on leaving the door body cladding on and either painting it, or better yet replacing it with white factory pieces. I’m not sure if they make those panels in white however. The painter at the body shop told me that the stock body cladding uses an electrostatic paint process that holds up better than if they are painted.
