That looks like the kind of tag they used up to 1965, but the K in F25J0K58329 indicates it is a 1971 F250 pickup.

Maybe the Number Dummy will chime in.

in his user profile he lists the vehicle as a 60 F-250, so that was my assumption for year and forum recommendation..

For all 1961-1967/68 Econolines, go here and search to see if your Econoline is already in the database.
Econoline dot org list

If yours is not listed, you can enter the VIN and all of the door tag information here and get an instant decoding.

That Econoline VIN decoder that hinzec mentioned works for only 1961-1967 Econolines.

FYI - This part of the Ford Trucks forum is for 1961-1967 Econolines. I am not kicking you out, just letting you know that there is a place here where folks who own vans your age hang out.

Best wishes in your Club Wagon restoration.

I also just purchased a 1965 Econoline pick up and am learning all about the codes. Try the other codes on the same ID tag, can tell what month, the original color, body style, upholstery and transmission It's the 87B style (5 window) that is custom and had lower build population - 3065 vs. 4340 for the 87A standard van (3 window). I'm in Denver and will get started with this new fun project

Have you tried entering your door-tag data here? Econoline Identification (VIN Decoder)
