Whatta weekend

Took the Bronco to the mudhole this weekend. Had a blast and a bit of carnage. The Bronco ate 3 hubs and 2 axle shafts but still lives. My hauler however didn't fare so good. On the way back, about 10 miles down the highway I heard a loud bang and she shut down. I coasted to a stop and looked for the carnage. Seems the oil is where the water should be, the water is where the oil should be and the hole in the oil pan is plugged by what seems to be a con rod. $500 towing bill to get the flatbed into town and I had to drive the mud truck 98 miles down the highway. The old ford didn't mind though.

There are some pics here-

and some more here-

That sucks that your tow rig blew up.

And how did you manage to break 3 hubs and 2 shafts in the mud? Are you locked or spooled?

Looks like it was fun, other than the breakage.
