2001 Sport Trac 4 Wheel Drive

Have a 2001 Explorer Sport Trac - the 4 wheel drive has gone out - was told it is a module - is this easy to replace?

aquanaut20 is starting off with a positive reputation.
first check for B+ on the brown clutch wire at the T/C when the switch is in 4hi,

if no,
find fault, fix,
it will not engage front drive if there is no power at this point.

If yes,
check if T/C shift motor works when you press the 4low,this changes the ratio.
if no,
rebuild the motor, rear/drivers side of the T/C
