Anyone use these?
I'm looking at a mini one for polishing my wheels mainly. It looks like it would get into the holes and nooks pretty well.
Any comments?

I've read a couple threads about the Mothers PowerBall thing. I couldn't find them, but do recall that everyone that's used them was very pleased.

I'll keep searching for the threads I saw, and if I find them will post links in this thread - but - - - -

- - - in the meantime, If any of you guys are bored, I have about 1 month to get the Kenworth completely pollished - any help (manual labor) is welcome.

I have both the Mothers Powerball and the Flitz...I prefer the Flitz because of what it's material.

I didn't know that Flitz made such a thing. I'll check into it some more.
I know their other products are good.

 

I have used the regular size one on my polished aluminum wheels. For touching up it does a fine job with a polishing compound. If the wheels are badly oxidized or damaged forget it. It will take you many many hours.

I just nearly purchased one at Pep Boys, but I decided to hold off since I was out of town and limited space coming back on the plane. I have not been able to find one where I live. I also have not seen the Flitz product, is it available in particular parts stores?

 

i use Mothers Powerball on the wife aluminum rims and loved it! every spring there in bad shape from the mn winters (road salt!) most years it takes 2 hours each by hand to get the to shine up, with the powerball 1/2 hour. i did use the a whole bottle of mothers powerball medal polish and and a high speed drill it seem the fast i went the higher the shine, they look great . also use it to polish the clearcoated rims on the truck using the same cleaner/polish/wax as i used on the truck 's body and they turnout great and in 1/4 of the time . and the best thing about is not a single jammed finger! (if you know what i mean)

I sell and use the Power ***** (Original & Mini). The key to success is to not expect the impossible from these tools. Their claim to fame is their ability to reach virtually every recess and flat on your part but they only polish as well as what you put on them will. If you have serious problems you'll need something more agressive but for maintenance and minor polishing they are phenominal.

Flitz makes a similar product but it is made of felt not automotive grade foam like the Power ball. It will be more agressive.

I've used the Power Ball without damaging it until I hit a steel valve stem otherwise it lives.
