Where in North Jersey? If you're near me (Colonia/Iselin/Rahway) there's a shop around the corner that I've trusted for the five years I've lived here, and they've been very good to me and the quality of their work is superb.

Oh, that's about a 45 minute ride from there to here. Probably not what you wanted.

Mahwah is slightly closer... there's a respectable Ford dealer on Franklin Turnpike (right off 202). Take 287 to the top of the state where 287/17/202 meet, and get onto 202 heading east. Just as you cross the railroad tracks (in suffern, NJ) go south on franklin Turnpike. Ford dealer on left, about 1/2 mile down the road. They've done work for me in the past, though not recently.

on ridgedale ave in morris town is a good ford dealer. don something. ask if keith browning aka ford doctor in this web site can work on it for you.
also in randolf on route 10 is jack trebor ford another good and one that i turned wrenches in my self.
or if you are willing to drive to sussex county up route 23 and a right on route 94 north. in hamburg is the shop i hang around in and worked in is levelten transmissions. pat barrett is a very long time buddy. like 25 years and will do you correct just make sure you tell him your a fte member of a break in price. www.level10power.net for more info. we are now a fte sponser also.

i've heard of level 10 for a long time. i'm not a fan of dealers for obvious reasons. i've always had much better luck with performance shops so to speak. i will give level 10 a call when i can be without my truck. thanks for the info

There's a place in East Rutherford (across the river from me) that I see all the time driving by. I haven't used them, but I'd like to know how they are if anyone has.

I think it is:

Meadowlands 4x4
946 Patterson Ave.
E. Rutherford NJ 07073 USA
Phone: 973 472-1120

Good to know. Next time I have some suspension work that I don't feel like tackling myself, I may throw it their way since it is so close.

Level 10 is a mistake because they say they will do something yet not even do a thing that they say. In other words say they will install this and that charge you just not do it !! Thats what happened to my buddy jake !

and thats is a load of double BS, if we say it's in there, it is in there. never has any one been screwed over in my 35 years of knowing pat and working in his shop doing the after hours brainie work with him.
if we did as you state. we sure would not have the backing and big name automotive customer base we have.

now i ask did he contact pat and ask what could have gone wrong, did he talk to pat him self and ask that he take care of the problem . i'm going to point this post out to pat and am sure you will get a reply asking for your buddy to contact him and a remidie the problem be worked.

and i just checked your other 6 posts since you joined fte, every one is a negitive post, tells me a lot about you.
