I used the master cylinder, booster, and pedal off an 87 Chrysler 5th Avenue on my 48 F-3. It worked out nice and fits the firewall okay. The booster isn't really small but it's not too big either. John Niolon has an article in the tech section showing the installation of this pedal. It was very informative and helpful...

I am not sure about the F-1's, hopefully someone more knowledgable will come along. On the 53-56 trucks, I have used the 79-93 Mustang swing-arm with great results. It fits like it was made for the fat-fendered trucks. Check out one of those if possible. Good luck and report back to us if you find something that fits good.

swing pedal f-1

i have a 51 f1..350sbc..4 speed.....i used the assembly out of a mid 70's chevy pickup...had to clip about 3/4 inch off the back plate and it sat right in place..didn't have to reinforce firewall either...had to rework the clutch pedal a little..it was too close to the steering column......using a hydraulic clutch set up.....

I kept mine under the floor in a '49 F-1. Used the stock pedal modified a bit, a Chevette power booster (nice & small, 7") and a chevy van master cylinder. Works great and not hard to fabricate.

77 Monte Carlo. Probably other years probably other models. The master booster and bracket for the pedal all bolt together
