I'm rather PC challenged so I'm pretty steeped that I FINALLY got some photos up in my gallery.. Its a '49 F-47 which as most know is a Canadian F-1. Never understood why they are called that up here but I was informed a bit ago that it refers to the GVW 4700#!! Ok, I guess that makes sense!! So, thoughts on my little truck??

Reason: add on
She's a jewel, nearly flawless. I especially like that two-tone exterior treatment. The *only* little thing I didn't care for was the gloss finish on the firewall. I prefer a semi-gloss... and I'm not even sure that's worth mentioning.
Nice looking truck. Did you just recently paint it? The paint looks great.
Not just the paint being new, the whole project was started Nov.1'05 & just now finishing up. Details like having the hood springs made from stainless spring steel & then polished & double rounding the dash to fit gauges rather than wholesale cutting extended the project a bit. Repo bedsides from MacHills, etc. Total body off . Love the AOD with the 302 H.O. Got tired of squinting into dark interiors at show/shines so made sure this one was clean & simple.
on modern fords, one of my fave color combos is the white and burgandy two-tone. The same color as your dash steering wheel instrument panel colors. Looks awesome.
