Rear end chatter / metal sound???

i have a 2000 Expy E/B 4x4 5.4 ..
i hear a slight chatter when..
switching from reverse to drive and just starting to move...
and now i am hearing it sometimes when i put it in park and release the brakm as the truck settles i hear it.. almost sound like maybe a bushing is missing??? sounds like metal clanging?? anyone???
