F1 hidden hinges/suicide hinges/hood work
I'd definitely like to 'shave' the hinges on my F1 project and am looking for advice/info from anyone that has done this on an F1. Any one hidden hinge manufacturer etc that is better? Any watch out for thisisms anyone wants to share from their experiences??
Also, I'm wondering if (if I'm going to shave the hinges) it would be any more difficult to suicide the door hinges?? Just off the cuff, I don't see why it would be any more difficult to mount the hidden hinges on the rear of the door than the front of the door?? Am I missing something??
Finally (for this post anyway), I'd also like to streamline the hood a bit.... Does anyone know of websites or articles or personal experiences with 'pie-cutting' or 'pancaking' hoods (not necessarily just Fords - anything will help!)
Any information is greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the help!!
