Fram is running a $20 rebate on their heavy duty Airhog, oiled, reuseable air filters. With RockAuto.com's prices a $20 rebate means these Fram filters end up costing relatively little or next to nothing for many Fords.
A couple of random examples from the www.RockAuto.com catalog are an Airhog filter for a 2000 Ford F-150 4.6L costs $37.79. An Airhog filter for a 1986 Ford Ranger 2.3L costs $20.79. So after the rebate the Ranger filter costs $0.79!
It was customers who first pointed out the Fram $20 rebate to us. We have sold hundreds of Airhog filters since the rebate started so Fram is honoring the rebate as promised. I don't know how Fram can afford a $20 rebate, but they must want to heat up the competition with premium filters from K&N, etc.
