2.3L swap in my 2.0L ranger

Will a 2.3 go in my 1988 2 wheel drive carburated ranger? If so will I have to change a lot of stuff? Thank you for any and all help.

Hi and Welcome to FTE! Please take a moment to check out the Guidelines as they contain important info that you'll need when posting on the site:

http://www.ford-trucks.com/guidelines.html

I've moved your thread to the appropriate forum (which I also happen to moderate) as you posted in a V8 forum...you should do a little better on answers here!

Externally the 2.0 and 2.3 are identical so it should be practically a bolt-in swap.

"alot" is not a word...

Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.

And of course get the Turbocharged, and intercooled 2.3 from an '88 Turbo Coupe to really wake up your Ranger.
