Does anyone know who handles parts for Rancheros. Had my eyes on them for a while and I might bid on one. Thanks in advance guys. Roy.

I've always liked the 50's-60's Rancheros myself, but be very sure what you are bidding on, most Rancheros are from the era when Detroit was building cars out of compressed rust.

Also, if the Ranchero is from the late '50s make sure the cross member under the engine is solid. These were made out of a tube and tended to rust out leaving the whole front suspension junk.

I had a 59 Ranchero. I loved the car. I added all the fancy trim from a Galaxy 500 to it, including the old Town and Country radio.

I think Mac and Dennis Carpenter both offer a seperate catalog for rancheros. Do and internet source and see what comes up

I tended towards the enclosed "rancheros" I had a 57 Ford and a 57 Dodge station wagon in my late teens.

Ranchero

Thanks to all for the info on Rancheros. I did bid and got the Ranchero. Its a 65 and looks to be in fair shape, will get it this week. It was supposed to have been stored in a barn for the last 10 years, got a little rust on the top , but looks ok, only time and a closer inspection will tell. It looks to be a fairly small vehicle, did they make a Falcon Ranchero in 65 ?? I will post pics and maybe someone can tell me what I have. A tip of the hat to you all. Roy.

Ford based the Rachero on the Falcon and then later on the Fairlane for a few years more.

BTW, if you need a grill for your new project you could have bid on this grill on uPay:

The bidding reserve was not met at $1,009.00 !

in 1965 it was based on the Falcon, so it is smallish.
