I drove an EL limited today at my dealer. I won't bore you all with telling you about the fact that it drives beautifully and all that - - we all know that by now. I will say a couple of small things:
1. The styling on the EL was impressive in person - I was a little worried that the extra length might make it look awkward, as it does in some photos that I've seen - not the case at all, it's really impressive and well-designed.
2. Just a weird nice little thing - the sill below the driver's window is very wide and completely flat. This plus the fact that the door lock doesn't get in the way of your arm makes it a really nice armrest.
3. The black leather is really nice - not completely black, but like a very dark charcoal.
I can't wait until mine comes in...

You mentioned that it "drives beautifully', but how does it really drive? Does the 5.4 engine, the new six speed automatic and the 3.73 rearend give it more "get up and go" than previous models? I know that you were drivng the EL model so there is going to be extra weight.

I can't really compare to previous models, because I haven't driven them, but I didn't feel like there was any sort of a sluggish start at any point, if that answers your question.
