I'm in the middle of a frame-off
on this shortbed unibody. The
original color was two tone
Carribean Turquoise and White. It
is a Custom Cab. Was the
underside of the hood the same
color as the top of the hood? What
color was the seat (most likely)?
And was it (the seat) a combo of
cloth insert/vinyl? Any help
would be appreciated. Thanks

Your hood should be the same color top and bottom. As for the seat, it depends on the option selected by the original owner. Custom cab doesnt mean too much. I have a 95 XLT and my brother has a 92XLT. Mine has carpet and my brothers has a rubber mat on the floor. Option packages dont dictate very much. Just have your seat recovered how you like it. Thats what classic trucks are all about, pure owner enjoyment!!
