Good motor? Yes. A little short on bore and stroke at 4.00" X 3.50" (a 360 is a .050" over 352). Block is the same basic FE block for the later engines.
the only reason that i ask is that i found a 77 highboy with a 352 and i wanted to know if they were good. I know about the 351's but not alot about 352
well what does the 360 have for power. I was told that it came out of and older dump truck but im not sure of the age
A true dump truck 360 is actually an FT series engine and would be a 361. Different crank and several other things, plus very low compression (7.4 to 1, where a 360's has 8.4 to 1). I doubt it came out of a dump truck if it has any real go power. The 360 is a .050" overbored 352. Some of the 352 would be stronger than a 360 due to higher compression and better carburation.
