Lets start getting ideas for our next and BIGGER meet! I say a Tonopah meet!

 

Anyone? Ideas?

 

Tonopah huh... Sounds good, I mean we could always just do it here in Vegas...

 

It would be nice if we planned a meet around an event. Kinda like that mud bog in Fallon, it's nice to have a function of some sort as the main attraction, which would be a good opportunity for a meet.

Probably getting to be a bad time of year for recreational events in Nevada though eh? Not much going on as far as outdoor activities with Winter approaching... Unless you all know of something I don't. Maybe an indoor event of some sort. Truck show, Concert, etc...
Vegas is a little far for me to just get together for a meet to have a beer, swap lies, and then go home. Especially with fuel prices as they are. A weekend outing of some sort would help motivate folks I'm sure.

My hamster's runnin, but the bearings on the wheel are a little rusty. Pay no attention to the noise.
Maybe a google on Tonopah might pay off? If you find something, post up eh... I'll take a look around too.
BTW, what ever happened to our chapter leader? Aint seen him in a while.

 

A little info on Tonopah, if anyone is interested. Just in case there becomes a meet there. I couldn't find any events happening there since August. But who knows, it is centrally located, looking at the map. Maybe a meet there would fly. Although, I think a perifrial attraction would be good. Maybe we could invite the Dallas Cheerleaders.

Sorry, I dont know of anything that is happening, and have been busy since chukar season opened up. Hey maybe we could get together for alittle hunting getogether.

 

Unfortunately, I don't have a Nevada licence. However, I hear the chucker are plentiful this year. One of the guys at work claims to have bagged quite a few. Of course I haven't actually seen the catch.

 

Thats ok, We could always use someone to cook,get more beer and clean the birds. Just kidn. It was just a thought.

 

If you're thinking you want me to cook, you must really like beer (if you catch my drift). If it were'nt for my wife, I'd be on a cold barley soup diet.

2000x, don't give up with the ideas. Keep 'em comin. I missed the Mud Bog for the last meet, but am hoping to get to the next one.

 

I'm going to try and set up a meet here in Vegas where the Arizona, Utah, and So. Cal. chapters will also be invited. I'm sure we would be able to figure out some way to keep busy all weekend!!!

 

Any kind of help you need just pm me- I work at the Red Rock Casino, and know lots of places that are event friendly due to my involvement with the Nevada Viper Club...

Sure, I work grave right now, but I am off thursdays and fridays- we can pick a place, and a time to meet- I am pretty good to go anywhere in the valley, but someplace in between would be the best-
