'95-'96 F150 Psom Reprogramming!!!!!
As far as my two speedometer clusters are concerned, one is a '95 the other is a '96 F150 w/ digital odometer, analog speedometer, Ford-Truck is wrong on there reprogramming of the PSOM speedometer information. What I found by SPENDING MONEY FOR ANOTHER CLUSTER!!!, thank you Ford Truck!!, for they left out some information. When setting up the speedometer for calibration, you ground the PSOM connector under the right side of the dash, hold down the reset button, turn on the key, let off of the reset button you get a needle sweep, my 2 say E 08 6, then push down the reset button again and let off of the reset button you get --- cal. If you are reprogramming at this time, PUSH DOWN AND CONTINUE HOLDING DOWN THE RESET BUTTON AND DO NOT LET UP, WHILE PUSHING IN AND LETTING OUT THE SELECT BUTTON YOU GET THE CONSTANT NUMBER TO CHANGE. kEEP HOLDING THE RESET BUTTON AND PUSH AND LET UP ON THE SELECT YOU GET THE CONSTANT TO AND WILL GO DOWN TO THE SELECTIVE CONSTANT NUMBER YOU WANT. IF YOU HAPPEN TO MISS AND GO PAST THE CONSTANT NUMBER THAT YOU WANT, CONTINUE HOLDING THE RESET BUTTON DOWN, AND KEEP ON PUSHING AND LETTING OUT THE SELECT BUTTON UNTIL YOU COME TO THE CONSTANT NUMBER YOU WANT, WHEN YOU GET TO THE CONSTANT NUMBER YOU WANT, LET OFF THE RESET AND SELECT BUTTON, TURN OFF THE IGNITION KEY. YOUR NEW CONSTANT NUMBER HAS BEEN REPROGRAMMED INTO THE MODULE. (DO NOT LET UP ON THE RESET BUTTON WHILE CALIBRATING OR IT WILL BE A COUNT AGAINST YOU ON THE CALIBRATION TIMES YOU ARE ALLOWED BEFORE SENDING IT INTO FORD FOR A RESET COUNT.) This is the importance of CORRECT imformation.
If you think I sound upset, your right!!! broken wire
