Did the factory use chrome carriage bolts on painted front bumpers??

On non Custom Cab pickups with white painted grills and front bumpers--did the factory use chrome carriage bolts to secure the front painted bumper to the frame?? I have seen several restored pickups and they have these chrome carriage bolts. Is this factory correct??
