I drive a f-150 4.2 how would i go about getting a little faster throttle response?

 

Well to answer properly we need some more info like what cab, box, auto or manual 4x2,4x4 and the gears your runnin there are lots of mods im guessing getting better gears or a bolt on mod to the engine to wake it up

sorry i fell asleep at the wheel there. its a 98 4x2 extended cab (3rd door) Im dot looking to break any land speed records or any thing just lookin fer some pep and a throaty exhaust.....i was told glass packs wouldnt work on a 4.2
