I do feel that they have to compete with the mega cab. A reclining back seat with the additional storage space behind it is a very good idea. For most of these rig crews that have 5-6 guys, a truck like the Superduty seems to be a bit small in cases. The cab can never be large enough. Sure if you have a family of 5 the superduty is plenty large enough. Consider 6 grown men.

The door storage pockets are A+ cool. The grill is too futurist for me but I could deal with it. Also I wonder if it is availible with an AM/FM radio package with out the CD player.

sorry to disagree with so many of you, but I think they really screwed this truck up
the interior is horrible
front end sucks.
and that crap in the tailgate and back of the bed is just something else to clean salt off of, and get in the way.
glad i got my 06 a few weeks ago. and very glad i didn't wait for the 6.4 08

How can you say the interior is screwed up? The curent interiors look like the were designed in a dark tavern on the back of a napkin. What is with the oblong oval with square components in it???? Best ford Interior since the early 60s for sure. Keep posting and maybe you really can convince yourself that you didnt buy too early.

I like it alot, alot of neat changes the power mirrors, the tailgate step the way the whole front grill comes up. That new 6.4 looks like a major change, it looks like the air cleaner is on the other side and the intercooler tubes look more secure aganist blow off. I think its gonna be a winner and there are going to be good things said about it in the furture!

One thing I don't like about Dodges Mega cab...you can't get that with an 8' bed. I like Ford's interior better. Try fitting 6 adults in the Mega cab. They have a small center console on the floor between the driver and front passengers seats. I know the wife hated that. You can fit 6 adults in the Ford and more confortably then the Dodge...at least that is what my family of 6 thinks. Although they aren't all adults, I think kids need more space then adults. Keeps the bruises to a minimum.
