Well the end of the season is upon us. Street Fights last night is coming this Saturday (9-30). Hope to see some of ya'll running down the track
I hope to be running down the strip in my 'ol mustang. Red '88 mustang with an air cleaner sticking outta the hood. lol
For any that don't know, Street Fights is a run anything drag racing at the Bristol motor speedway in Bristol Tennessee. 10.00 to get in and race. 5.00 to just get in. Lots of fun to drive and watch.
We may be there - Live just south of Johnson City. I'm planning on rebuilding the engine in my truck this winter . daughter and I will be going next summer as a "match". Would that be a time/place for a "meet" ?
Spaznaut - I'm not sure what the other 1/2 has planned tomorrow, but look for my other vehicle, a black Geo Tracker, will probably have mud splatter and a CB antennae w/ a red "pennant" on top, and a BAT for the front license (Navy emblem). I'll be wearing a black hat w/ a beaded band. C U there ?
Spaznaut - Got Hi-jacked after work, we went to Fall Branch for the "Down Home Jamboree". It was a "learning experience". We left early. Maybe next time. Next weekend is the "Apple fest" in Erwin. I think we all would have rather been in Bristol.

Rain set in around 7. And no fast et for me with that crowd
Did run my best time and mph though but only got that one run in 12.8 at 121 mph (street tires no drag radials).
Guess quite a few were all out and they had quite a few breaks that held up racing.
It was packed though with lots of nice cars to see.
