Red face "BED"

i buddy of mine wants to sell me a 8' bed i know i should probley fine a 6' bed but hes selling me this for cheap so my question is has anybody choped a 8' bed to a 6' if so any tips on doing this?

Just to "Cut Straight"

which end are you going to cut off so the wheel wells will match the tires ?

i'm pretty sure you have to cut from both ends you might want to do some serious measuring before you start hacking away

also you will have tons of time once you get it welded back together grinding weld down and also bodywork on it...
