352 to a C4??

I am in the process of stripping a '66 Deluxe Camper Special. It has a 352, 4spd, and a 4.10 rear. I would like to know if a 352 will bolt up to my C4 (from a 72). I am currently running a 300 6cyl, C4, and a 3.50 rear in my '66 and am wondering about the driveability , mpg, etc.. of this type of 352 swap.. I want to keep the 3.50 rear. Any ideas??

Jim do you have a rare round top bell C4 tranny? If not a C6 would be a great choice. There are some FMX family autos that will bolt up to the FE. You will get better mpg if you use a 3.00 rear gear, standard in the 66 with auto.
