wont start after fuel filter housing change

97 7.3 i had a leak in the bottom of the filter housing {changed only the housing put every back on it} an put new high psi rubber line back .filled the housing with fuel, the motor hit one time an that was it .now it just rolls over put new batterys on thought volts my be low an that was no help fuses all look good if you need more info email me whale45714@yahoo.com i need all the help i can get on this one !!!!!! thanks all

chech the fuses. forget which one it is but it powers the fuel heater and the pcm. maybe the change over grounded out the heater and blew the fuse. if the fuse is blown then you need to unhook the heater and then replace the fuse. it will be in the under hood fuse block

fuse

all the fuses are good replaced idm relay unhooked fuel heater an plug truck in let it set 2 hrs [ it's 66 outside] no start

Do you have fuel pressure? If you did not fill the filter housing with fuel it will take a lot of cranking to get it to fire. SOmetime it will catch the first crank, sometimes not.

Is the tach moving when cranking?

Make sure that you pluged the ipr valve back in. It will not run if un pluged.
