Question 65 F250

Installed new steering column wire harness.
Installed new brush.
Installed steering wheel.
Installed all new pressure pad and retainer.
When sitting in drivers seat looking at steering wheel there is a 1/4 hole at 7 o-clock. You can see contact plate on back side of hub.
When I put jumper wire in hole and ground out horn works.
When I put horn ring on steering wheel. NO WORK !!
What goes in that hole to complete circuit to horn ring ?
Or do I have the wrong steering wheel or horn ring ? Steering wheel is 3 spoke just like horn ring.
I would like to keep horn ring because" It's cool ".
Thanks for any info.

A small brass pin with a rounded point and a spring behind it will work. Put Vaseline or silicone dielectric grease on the ring to lubricate the pin so it does not make noise.
