My '64 292 is painted all Blue. I don't know if this is original but it looks really good!

Pete, please be patient and don’t start a new thread when you already have a perfectly good one from the previous day. Just give us a chance to respond with the correct information. I believe the block is red with black valve covers but have also seen all blue like Andrew has. Have been trying to confirm it since your original post. Shalom!

Thanks Barry, an old ford guy told me the 292 entercepter motor had black valvecovers and red block. I will look foward to your research.

I have A 63 F-100 Unibody And the colour is Ford Blue..i don't know if that will help.

64 292 V8 what color????????
My information shows that thru 66, Ford truck engines were painted black. The V8s had gold valve covers, the sixes were all black. In the car line, Ford started painted the engines blue starting with the 65 models.
