Color of fuel in filter

I was reading steve baz's website and saw a blue color in the fuel filter.

What does this mean? Does it need attention?

I saw a blue color in my fuel filter.

Possibly injector oring material. But I know diesel can have a camilion effect with light. But if you have blue chunks you probably got an O ring problem. But just the filter itself with a blue tint, I couldn't tell ya.
