Good Morning from Denver,

I have been hearing controversy regarding the 500 PPM Diesel Fuel being sold at the pumps.<O:p</O:p

Someone was telling me that there is an injector package the dealers are installing to accommodate the (Less/More) sulfur content in the fuel.<O:p</O:p

Has any one heard about any service bulletins regarding this?<O:p</O:p

Actually, diesel is going to 15ppm, retail, Oct 15, 2006.

Nope.... only 2007 (2008 Model year trucks) will have new injectors as did the 6.0L versus the older 7.3L motor...

500ppm diesel is the current diesel fuel which is being lowered to 15pmm. Model year 2007 trucks/motors and newer must only use 15ppm (ULSDF) diesel fuel. Model Year 2007 motors do have new injectors and emissions, as new oils and new particulate filters.
