Alignment

I am thinking I need to have my truck aligned.
The reason:
Whenever I get up to 45mph the steering wheel really starts to shake but stops when I get above 60.
Am I correct in thinking I need an alignment? How often do you all have your trucks aligned? It seems to me that it might needed it quite a lot with the bumps on the roads and some rough country driving.

Really if your tires are not wearing and it does ot pull either way when going down the road you shouldn't have to have it aligned.

being out of alignment doesn't cause vibrations. you either have a tire balance issue or loose parts (tie rods ends, ball joints, axle u-joints) in the front end.
