98' XLT CEL P0171 & P0174 Codes

I have a CEL with P0171 & P0174 codes. I have dones some search's and seems everyone say's to clean MAF and check vacum leaks including PCV hose. I have done this and cleared code and within a week get the P0171 & P0174. This is bank 1 & bank 2 running lean. Any suggestions before I cave in a bring to a shop?

Perform a more thorough check of that PCV hose, especially the elbow in the back.

A vacuum leak is still your odds-on reason for the codes.

Starting fluid, brake/carb cleaner, or an unlit propane torch all make good aids in locating vacuum leaks. When you hit the leak with the combustible liquid or gas, the idle will change character.

If you do decide to take it to a shop, find one with a smoke machine.
