Hey guys, I am sure this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyway, I just picked up my new '06 F250 SD CC 4x4, and I want to deactivate the "automatic lock" feature (doors lock when you put it in drive). I did this on my '00 and '02 SD's but can't seem to find the paper I had it written down on....must be my filing skills!

Is it a Lariat? If so you can just goto the setup screen on the Electronic Meesage center to deactivate it. That is what I did..

Not sure how to do it if you don't have the message center.

 

unfortunately, no...it's not a Lariat. I looked at a lariat...just couldn't swing the payment, even at 0%. It's an XLT model.

 

Look in your owners manual. That is where I found out how to do mine. It is a sequence of things with the key and hitting the door locks. It also has how to disable the seat belt reminder.
