but ricks probably right my bow season is shorter than the state's I try to be legal at least the first week. there's something about that old 30-06 thats a little better than a bow,I think it's a 200 yrd shot . at that distance you don't have to be a real good hunter, I can kick back on the back porch beer in one hand and the gun in the other and shoot across the field behind my house
