Question cam position sensor replacement

97 has the 'hiccup' a few have talked about.I want to change cps.what kind of job is it?

pretty darn easy. 10mm wrench and a few minutes on the ground and you will be good to go.

First order a new cps off e-bay ($50-75) or go to you local international dealer ($90-100). It is simple but it is tight under there. You need a 10mm ratchet, under the truck find the crankshaft and pully, @ the 10 o clock position there it is. You might have to pry the old one out just take your time.

changed cps today(easy,15 min.)100 miles no "hiccup".thanks
