heads

i have been reading on here about porting heads and i came across one that was saying when you port your heads that you loose low end torque and you will not see a difference untill like 5000 rpm is this true?

That statement mainly applies to major porting where you make a lot of changes. A mild port, gasket matching with exhaust bump removal, will not cause a loss of low end.
