vacuum hoses????where oh where do they go?
I'm trying to find out where all these vacuum lines go, of course no diagram or reference available in my 1965 Ford Truck Shop Manual or Haynes Repair Manual.
BUT, I found these stickers attatched to the hood with Vacuum Hose Routing---and no clue of what's what or where's what. Since I am a NEWBIE, I don't know whether we can include photos or diagrams in this text and would gladly share it with all you ENTHUSIASTS with a little guidance.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Drew

Hey Drew, Welcome to FTE The Nations truck stop.
You have stickers under the hood of your 65 Ford truck?? WOW, I don't think I have ever seen one before. I know there is a vacuum hose for the dist. advance, but I am scratching my head trying to think where another would go on a 65.
A little more help please. What engine and tranny does your truck have?
John

Sorry John, I seem to have mislead you. I have a 1965 Ford Truck MANUAL(book) but it goes with my 65 Ford F-100 HOTROD-my 79 F-150 Ranger SuperCab has a 460 tohat I just got from GRANDAD that is a mess with NEGLECT. I apologize. My 65 belonged to my Dad, I don't have any problems with it-except keeping gas in it.

I forgot to tell you that my 65 is holding together a 390 Police Interceptor, w/edelbrock intake, Carter 650 Comp Series on top, Mallory Laser Ignition, with 3 speed on the tree, everything works--------------except the gas gauge!!!I have an 88 Ford F-350 7.3 Diesel.

Drew Your post needs to be on the 73-79 forum, so that the site search features work properly.
Let's just end this one and let you start over again there, if you don't mind. I'll close the thread and you can email me if you feel that you need to.
We will be glad to help you here with your 65/390 when you need it.
thanks
John
