Directions or picks of how to replace IPR...
Hey guys, i'm going to be changing my IPR next week, and I just wanted to check and see first where the heck the thing was...(i know it's behind the HPOP somewhere) and if there were any tricks to removing it and installing the new one. Hopefully this will help to resolve my hard-starting problems.....
Also, can anyone confirm that there is a new IPR that will fit all PSD's (7.3)? I'm looking at International part # 1833798C91 just want to be sure that I buy the correct one.
Thanks guys!

Ten minute job with the right tool.
There is a great tool you can make with a welder or a torch that makes this a 10 minute job. The deep socket that fits the body of the IPR is easy to get on but you can not get the ratchet handle in there so you weld a little piece of steel onto the side of the socket, sticking straight out six inches and it makes a handle which will allow you to turn out the old IPR and turn in the new one. Can't remember what size the socket is but when you get the part in your hand you will know quickly. I happen to have the same size socket with a hex head end on the end where the ratchet goes into it and so I could put the socket on the IPR and then sneak a wrench down in there to turn the socket. There just wasn't enough room for the ratchet.
