Yeh, since this "new" truck is coming out after the other big 2, it should have better numbers. But if you want big torque numbers you may just have to buy an Audi Q7.
500 PS/ 1000 Nm or 493 hp / 737 lb-ft

If it is anything like the auto transmission Mercedes cars with 493 hp and gobbs of torque from a gas engine, you only get full power from the engine once in a while. The computer limits power probably most of the time on a 0-60 launch.

I love my F-250 6.0 KR but it seems like these guys (FORD) just don't get it. There is nothing innovative about this or any of their products. They need to step outside the box in order to reclaim the industry with items such as built in tiedown systems, navigation, backup cameras etc. Most importantly they need to build a vehicle that you can drive for years without having to deal with major component failures. At times it seems like their in the business of keeping their service departments backlogged especially when it relates to the 6.0 ltrs.

it seems nothing is really changing drastically...like brent said..they really need to step outside the box...engine wise...the 6.4 might be great but i will never know because im not a diesel person at this time but as far as dings and whistles....o wow its a larger f150 interior..whoopy!!...i would like to see a 10 ft bed...us guys who deliver countertops or lumber would love the extra 2 ft...my dad custom made a extenda bed that sits on top of the wheels wells and extends to 18'!! have you ever seen a 18' countertop ... U SHAPE with both wings 4' being hauled on a pickup truck...i would definatley like an onstar like feature and satilite radio from the factory...o well mayb some of these things will come about in the future...but a 10ft bed extended cab wouldnt be much larger than a crew cab 8ft bed...

I kinda, pretty much, like that concept though...the more I think about it.

I think that would be an enteresting truck for a mfg to put together as concept truck to take on tour next year. They could test the appeal to the buying public. Nothing wild just take like and extended cab chassis and put a regular cab on it with a 10 ft box behind it and also a crew long bed as mentioned by CounterMaker, with an extended cab with a 10 foot bed. Now when I say take it on the show tour, I don't just mean the big shows like detroit, chicago and NY, but also to comercial equipment shows and contractor trade shows. Show to people that might actualy need something like that. now picture this the F250/350's with the only optional 10 foot bead on the market, sure its a niche market but hey there is not any real cost in R&D at least not compared to making a whole new car or truck,or a major redesign of an existing product. How hard could it be to add a couple more foot of bed floor and make a new set of bed sides that have the added 2 feet and the wheel wells in the right places. I think this is a heck of a concept. I could really use something like this in my business. Our product are more bulky than heavy. we are using 8 foot bed 3/4 trucks and runnig out of room long before getting anywhere near the trucks load capacity.

like i said before my dads extenda bed is perfect for what we do...it sits on top of the wheel wells with i beams that slide on channels underneath...when pulled out it come out an additional 10 ft...and its completley level all the way accross...we even made a platform that drops inbetween the 2 i beems so that its like a 18 ft flat bed on a pick up...and the fron of t is u bolted so it cant teater...now if ford can come up with a 10 ft bed....we can go out to 20 ft...you should see the guys eyes when we pull up to the construction site...i think for really needs to step it up on its design on the 08...hopefully there are alot of things we arent seeing
