'95 F-350 Airbox Mod

Hey all. I got up early this morning and did the 6637 air filter mod on my '95 dually... I wanted to post the pix I took into this msg. But I don't know how to do that, or if I'm allowed to. Some of them were quite shocking... to me anyway.

If you wish to see them, they're in my gallery titled 1 Dragon's Ride. They are #'s 10 - 15

i hope all who are still running a stock airbox look at those pics.

i will post one of your pics for you. the moderators like it if you post one and links to the rest.

i chose this one because it shows just how bad of a seal was being made at the top and allowing junk to get sucked in.

btw the new set up looks great!!!!

I finally got my air mod done this morning. I'm thankful it was not as dirty as pictures shown. Thought getting the old box out was the hard part.

It really gave me piece of mind when I did mine. Just think I had a k&n for one year. Thank you guys for educating me! And my stock box didnt want to come out either, so half an hour later I got tired of trying to save the stock setup and litterally ripped it out!

Yea, it sure was. I hadta use a dang pry bar to get mine out. shoot

One thing I wanted to ask anyone... On the old airbox there was a sensor plugged into the fender wall side of the airbox. Was that an air restriction sensor? Apparently there's no problem running without it plugged in.

Oh btw 1997 F-350 .... thanks for postin that pic.

That sensor is an air intake temp sensor. I just have it sitting next to filter
