1983 Ford Ranger???
Hi guys. Tonight I am buying a 83 Ranger from this guy that hasnt drove it all to much. it only has 144,000k on it, and runs very good. The interior is in good shape, and the exterior has rust around the wheel wells, back bumpers...and it seriously needs a paint job cause it is a ugly baby blue. I am paying $350 Canadian for it, do you that is a good deal???

I agree with Canadianfordman, if you can stand to drive it like it is.
But if you want to bring it up to par, you will wind up spending a lot more on it.
I had an 83 4cyl 2.0 liter. At about 90 K miles I put new rings and bearings, because it was using oil. At 115 K miles I bought the whole drive train from a 91 ($1500) and installed it. That brought it up to a 2.3 L EFI engine and 5 speed. That got me by for 2 years.
