AC Recharge

Hi All,

was wondering if anyone has had good luck with the 134a can kits to recharge the AC in an already 134a Truck? Or should I save the $30, and have it professionally recharged?

Thanks,
Bob

The kits work fine as long as you make sure you don't overcharge it. Get a kit that includes the pressure guage and read the instructions. If the charge is already near the limit, and you think it's low on freon, then you need to get it professionally evacuated before charging it.
