tire disposal in nashville?

hey y'all,

I got a dilemma. i have collected 9 tires over the last couple months that are no good, but i have no way to get rid of them legally without paying an arm and a leg.

I've heard that metro dump wants $4 per tire, but i assume there is something that is both legal and cheaper elsewhere.

any insight will be greatly appreciated.

Also, I have a midship ford gas tank, straps, and filler neck in relatively good condition that i would give to someone in the area that could use it. it was bolted under my truck, but there was no filler in the bedside. i dont need dual tanks, so i figured i'd give it to someone who could use it as opposed to scrapping it.

thank's again

Down in SC we had (or still have?) a place that collected them for $0 from the consumer. Their only purpose of the tires were to chop them up and use it in some newer "rubber asphalt" processes.
Maybe TN has one too?
