Engine swap

Hi...I have a 65 Ford F-100 with a 300 in line 6 and 3 speed in the column. Today I recieved a running 460 with a C6 Tranny. What do I have to do to put this in and is there anything I need to look at on the engine as far a front sump or rear sump oil pan, on my 300 I have like 3 inches between the oil pan and the crossmember. I know I need to change my radiator, but is there anything else.....Thanks alot...

Engine swap

If the motor was from a 79 or older Ford truck, go back and get the frame-to-motor mounts and it should be a easy swap. It will need a new driveshaft, any good shop can help you here. Do alot of measuring around the steering box, make sure there is enough clearance, etc.. Good luck with your truck!

Engine swap

I'm pretty sure the 460 engine came out of a Lincoln...
