66 F100 Manual Transmission Fluid & Check Questions
I can't seem to locate where to check the fluid level in my 1966 F100 3 speed manual transmission. I suspect it is low and definately needs to be changed. Where do you check it and what is recommended for transmission fluid types and weights? Thanks.

Fluid change
u need 90W gear oil from your local autostore , and there is a bolt on the right side top of your tranny, what you do is unscrew it and pump the gear oil into it until it starts to ooze out. ( you need a oil pump, it costs 5 dollars for a cheap one and it screws onto the top of your gear oil bottle)
you can if you want unscrew the bottom bolt/screw and drain the oil and then pump it in the side untill it oozes out
when it oozes out it is full. there is no tranny fluid check on a 3 spd tranny exept for the bolt on the side.
