vibration during low RPM
Hi All,
I have a vibration problem with my 92 F250 7.3L 4EOD trans. It feels like it's coming from the driveline area. It only vibrates after shifting into 2nd or 3rd during low RPM. Acceclerating elliminates the vibration. I've changed the trans filter, rear U-joint and the carrier baring. This has helped reduce the vibration, but it's still present. All the other U-joints seem fine.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

mine shutters when i move really slow, feels like coming from the rear end, the dealership told me it was the clutch packs in the rear end, which has something to do with the limited slip. told me they were wore out and are not releasing when they should be lol? still cant figure out how it works, but i was told by 2 people that it was clutch packs $$$$$$$$ good luck

I flushed the tranny after reading the posts on the torque converter. However, I don't think that worked. I mean that only because, the rear bakes have started to drag, which has created another problem.... I will be working on this "new" issue and then have a better idea of the transmission problem. I'm not sure if shimming the carrier bearing will make a difference. The truck is stock with it's original 2" of travel in the front. What bonner thought of that?
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check out the rear end once I get the brakes fixed.
