Man no suggestions on this yet. Guess I will have to spend my dividend on Sheetrock Tools instead.

Maybe the Alaska Truck Center (IH) in Anchorage Mike. They do have fuel filter kits for $29.11 for our trucks.

I haven't used them myself, but did talk to them before. Advance diesel service, 1025 Orca S-7 in Anchorage, near Merrill Field. They're a Stanadyne dealer also, good place to buy Stanadyne. Best price on Stanadyne is 5 gallons bulk, bring your own container.

Why don't you just do it yourself. Purchase the items from a FTE vendor. There's plenty of info in to forum to install them yourself. Doesn't look that difficult. Could save some money. Buy the gauges and exhaust and still have money left over for the sheetrock tools.

Ah that was the one I was thinking of. "Northern Diesel Performance"

Yes, August 2007. Actually I am looking at taking a vacation the middle of July till the middle of Aug 2007. I will be heading south for a month. After I get back I might have time to do some personal stuff. Bummer of having 2 full time jobs. You just made me add up the hours that I am at work. Crap 4450 hrs a year between the two. The positive is I can retire at 49.

Mike, don't feel bad. I calculated that I'm at work at least 4,680 hours per year. That includes the hours I'm on call when I'm sleeping, but I am away from home. The plus side is that I'm home for 170 days a year. I did have 4 weeks staight off in May and August, but didn't see to get enough done.

Heck I'm so busy that I have WilliesSD250 coming down and working for me for 2-3 weeks before he heads south... One I get this roof on this house that I am building I can slow down if I want. Probley wait until there 6-7 feet of snow before I take a day off to play.

Thanks for the number arcticoffroadingfish. I will give them a call and get a general idea on the exhaust. I will be heading over to Anchorage in November for a week for business and they can have the truck while I am there.

I agree- Jim at Northern Diesel Performance seems to be a great guy and does have good prices - he can save you $$ over what you can order and get shipped up.....plus you're supporting the local guy.

I had a catalog order placed for an exhaust system that I cancelled due to extreme shipping cost. He is getting me a better kit for less $$.

A good guy.

AGREED, purchased my 4in turbo back exhaust from him for only $399,
and it sure woke up my 7.3, i have talked to him also about getting the DP tuner
he is starting to carry and will be doing an october PFD special he said, you get 6 tunes, and the manual **** for about $275, now, thats a smokin deal, he told me all of this over the phone, so im not sure if its in stone yet, but call and ask, if its different, tell him Jeremy called and this was the deal. Jim is cool like that. NDP
