Shudder/hesitation between 40-50mph

Hi folks. I've got an '03 F150 4.6l 4x4, with 57,000 miles. It's developed a "hitch in it's git along" between 40-50mph if I keep a constant pedal pressure. No noise, just a shudder, and I can accelerate through it. No CEL.

Hi and welcome to the forum

If you turn off the OD by pressing the button on the shifter **** does it change it at all?
Ever had the transmission oil changed?
Sometimes you'll get what you're describing if the torque convertor clutch chatters as it locks and unlocks. Usually all it takes to cure it is to change the transmission fluid.

Had the trans "T-Tech" serviced this morning. Complete change of fluid. Got worse...much worse. Finally got a code. "Misfire on #7" Got a dealer coil and viola! done.

It's amazing how much shakin' had to go on before it would trigger a code.
